I have been in the tech world for over 15 years. The journey took me through massive-scale e-commerce platforms, the fast-paced ride-hailing industry, and leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager at Shopify. I have been the first engineer beside founders, and part of a company of 13,000. Along the way I shipped products for markets in Egypt, Europe, the US, and Saudi Arabia.
Lately I have been deep in the AI trenches: building practical AI products, agents, and intelligent systems, including platforms that analyze hundreds of thousands of calls to help companies make better decisions. It has been an incredible experience to be at the forefront of what I believe is a once-in-a-generation shift.

When I am not in AI-land, I am usually working on a new course or exploring the next idea in my product kitchen. I started my journey in Egypt and have been fortunate to work with teams and build products for people all over the world. It has been a wild ride, and I feel like we are all just getting started.
